Hi everyone, I was wondering if you have tried or heard of the iGuzheng app for the iPad? It looks really cool and fun. I just started learning the guzheng, so perhaps this is not the best tool for me hehe.

Here is a video of someone playing 渔舟唱晚 and 天涯歌女 on the iPad:

Hey Carey, this is great news. I've been wanting to have a guzheng app which I can play with my headphones on and practice wherever and whenever. Will take a look.

A friend suggested I try Magic Zither, but it just confused me, and unlike her I couldn't get any enjoyment out of it.

yes, I have this app. It's great fun but sometimes a little confusing.
The amount of 'bend' permitted on the igu zheng bears no resemblance to reality as I discovered when I tried to play the Wilderness Idyll on my real gu zheng!
Still, it creates a good deal of interest as I use it to practice during internal flights here in China!
Also use it to tune when I don't have my mobile phone guitar tuner app with me...
