Hi , I'm from Malaysia. I recently purchased a RM3000 guzheng without any knowledge of guzheng. The resit which I received from the dealer shows that the guzheng is made of Cedar-Pearl but outside the case shows a hand written note is made of another type of wood which is not the same (Tsuten wood). The dealer that sold to me the Guzheng too has little knowledge about the guzheng. I was told by my friends that dunhuang guzhengs is the Best. Now I am wandering which is better?? Is it something similar to piano brands like kawaii compared with Yamaha*?
The Dealer said It is ok to change but he has only 1 guzheng(dunhuang) left at his possesion. So I am in need of opinions and advices!! Embarassed Confused

Looks nice. It's probably not zitan. The work is delicate, not crappy made. I believe it's from Shanghai or Henan. It has some age, and it probably has a warmer tone than the new dunhuang.
I would keep this one rather than exchanging for a basic dunhuang.
