It's interesting that she is playing a guzheng in Sapporo hotel.
I think that's a Taiwanese folk song, but I can't recall the name.

Help! This is a really - really gorgeous piece of music with a quintet I think of luiqin, pipa, ruan, yangqin and zheng. It is so beautiful if you know it please let us know what the title is? Thank you.

Okay, I just scanned poorly the title off the CD surface:

關雎
Do you know more about this beautiful piece? Its origin? I lost the liner notes for this CD - my bad.
What does that title mean?

Thanks again.

hmmph, i guess i am the only one who loves this piece i shared then.. fine!

just kidding.. ahhhhhhhhh i just love romantic lush sweeping beautiful pieces with lots and lots of strings !!

many girls i know grow up waiting to be blushing brides swept away by hunks the size of semi trucks for arms..

me, i would dance around like a flying apsara or buddhist heavenly angel to music like this, without a care, while the girls play kissy kissy with the boys in the corner of the class! hahahahahahaaaa

am a hopeless romantic in love that's all! so there ;P

Sorry I didn't see this sooner or I could've answered you - I've been travelling.

This is a very famous poem, the first in Shijing. It's one you definitely study, even in a basic survey course on Chinese literature. I think any Chinese person you ask will have heard of it. Very Happy
