On my yatah the bridges' sole are not perfectly fit to the top board, so it is rattling a bit. There are tapes on the sole. is This normal, or olny for covering this negligence? There are anything on the sole of guzheng's bridges' soles?

I'm searhing, I'm also curious to the sound. Perhaps would help that yatga, the English name is incorrect. The Mongolian says that jatah, or rather jatakh.
This kh, gh is the same voice Turkish language uses. and you can write into the search: jatag, yatag, jatah, yatah, jatagh, yatagh, jatakh yatakh

This is an article in Mongolian:
http://gurduumn.blogspot.hu/2013/05/blog-post_21.html
this is also an interesting article:
http://www.socsci.uci.edu/~rgarfias/aris/kiosk/chungkto.html
there is in it a link, perhaps is is the sound of the yatga, which is on the photo by the next link. Unique knocking sound, as I hear, birch wood sound.
Thisi is an catalogue of eastern instrumnets' photos in German, which also contains an old photo about the original yatga.

I think you can make the bridges stop rattling by tightening the strings more. I don't use tape for my kayagum, and the bridges don't rattle.

I will recarve the sole of bridges. They didn'd do it well. As I see these are not original bridges for this instrument, but I don't know. There are slots between top board and bridgesoles. Sometimes more than 1mm, soles not abut well.

Here is an mongolian original mongolian style yatga's sound. The music a little bit modern ,but the sound of the yatga is hearable, if that is the yatga which is sounding.

I don't see how that instrument is different from a guzheng. What's the difference?

Shape: head (right end) and leg (left end). Straight soundboard.
ornaments: unique style painted patterns, which aren't similar to chinese patterns.
The base colour under the patterns is orange or claret (i don't know if is this the correct word for this colour), The patterns coloures are white, red, blue, green and other high coloures. Pattern are plantlike. See the pictures I had posted upper!

Higher frame: Idont know that if the bottom is on the edge of frame, or inner? I have never seen neighter a bottom hole- pattern. That is sure the sound is different to guzheng

size: characteristically shorter than guzheng, mainly the strings,
The left end (leg) is may be longer to stay the instrument in lower angle, so more comfortable to play mainly by shorter instrumnets.
Common number of strings is 13, but may be more: 15-17 or 21 or theoretically up to the sky
