My nails are weak Sad, so depending on the piece I either use the flesh on the fingers of my left hand, or I use picks on my left hand for the whole piece.

If your nails are weak, try using a "nail strengthener". (look for OPI)

Are they naturally weak or have you gotten artificial nails before?
And how are they weak? Do they peel from the edges or are they soft?

Also, look at your diet. Do you have enough Calcium intake?
Strangely enough, exercise also helps...(because exercise makes your bones absorb more calcium, and nails are a type of bone)

I work in a salon, so I deal with lots of peoples' nail questions etc. If you have questions, please please don't hesitate to ask me!
